Try putting the shredder in reverse and the in forward mode to reset the machine. Also try turning it off, unplugging it, turning it back on and then putting it bac in forward/shred mode. Perhaps that will allow it to work again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the RED LIGHT comes on when you separate the SHREDDING HEAD from the bucket. When you put the SHREDDING HEAD back into place after emptying the bucket, the RED LIGHT goes off. If you shredder is not shredding, is there a chance that you have overheated the unit. Perhaps, if you ignore the clear window on the side of the bucket, where you can see the shreds of paper filling the bucket, the shredded paper could JAM back into the head. You might get an automatic time out until the shred head unit rollers are cleared and it has a chance to cool down. Also, you might make sure that you have the shredder turned on, to the FORWARD position, not SET to the OFF position. Also check that the plug is plugged in all the way to your wall socket.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the light is on and it is locked
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There might be a paper clip, wad of paper etc. stuck in the blades. I had to unploug and dig stuff out with a small screw driver once. I assumeyou tried running it in reverse?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Need to empty the shredded paper.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is too much paper in shredder...Clean top part of cut paper, then it should work.....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once in a while my red light comes on when the shredder is too full. I just empty the shredder and all is good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It could be jammed. Make sure shredder is turned off and unplug it. Check the bottom of the shredder for paper still in the blade section and carefully remove it. Also, have you lubricated the blades lately? If not, that could cause the problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably full. The volume of paper inside will push up the lid just enough to break contact with the safety switch. Empty it and you should be good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
