• It depends on the type of connection at each point more than the cable material. Get properly matching ends and you should be fine.

• I would think so. I purchased the ubs that connects to a computer a phone or a camera. They pretty versatile. Once you go to Best Buy as for help from the attendees and they will direct you to the correct ubs item. Good luck
