“I just purchased this. The instructions say the LED will turn purple when fast charging and it does show purple when it is first plugged in. When I charge my my iPhone XS it never turns purple. Does this charger not support iPhone XS fast charging?”

So I may answer my own question. I contacted Apple Support. The iPhone XS according to them does not support fast wireless charging only fast connected charging.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. I have the same charger which I use with my IPhone XS. I have an iPhone case on my phone and it does charge properly. The charger when powered on should not glow purple until such time that your IPhone is placed onto the charger. If your charger doesn’t glow purple after you lay your phone on the charger I suspect your using a phone case. Some case are too thick to allow the charging process. I would try removing your phone case to see if your phone charges. If it doesn’t you may have a defective charger. I do help this advice helps you.
