If you desire wireless charging, you can however purchase a case with the induction coil built in, or you can buy the basic coil and attach it to your own phone/case combo, which will utilize a smalll flexible lightning connector that you will have to plug into your phone’s lightning connector so a basic (or deluxe) Qi wireless charger can have a way to transfer the power/charge to the lithium ion battery in your iPhone SE. It’s great to see that Apple equipped it’s latest generation, highest content and technology phone releases with various cutting edge features , depending on if you wanted the 8 or 8 Plus with its familiar home button and fingerprint ID, or if you perceived enough value in the X (Ten) to get the 3D facial scanning, OLED display, the augmented reality, which makes the custom emojis fun and personalized to your very own facial expressions, mood, or attitude! I think they might have got in a bit of a rush introducing the X as early as they did, but Apple could not let their 10th anniversary go by without a celebratory phone to mark the occasion, even if it meant that all features are not fully operational yet. One of the main features being rapid charge. It is not capable of the quick charge yet, so the wireless charging is definitely far from “lightning fast!” And yes, that pun was very much intended! All in all I am pleased with the phone, but less than thrillled about paying for premium features that I struggle seeing benefits that is commensurate with non-subsidized $1250 phone by the time you pay tax and activate it. I just have to chalk that up to being a die-hard Apple fanatic, and have to e one of the first to get their newest toys! I will be glad when they introduce the update that will truly turn the rather leisurely wireless charging into the fast charging that we have been told we will be getting. The SE is a good phone that is also quite durable. For less than $50 to $100, you can find multiple solutions that can make it do a lot of things, but if it was me, I think I’d wait a year or two and buy a used or reman 8 Plus or X, to get the larger screen, faster processor, OLED on the X, along with the cool features that the facial mapping and recognition will allow you to do. Sorry for the novel, but that’s my 2 million cents worth on the whole enchilada! Whatever you decide, I wish you the best!
