Due to cleverly-designed hinges, even when the door is fully open to 90° it juts out beyond the right side of the refrigerator by barely even 1/4". It's very nearly flush with the side. The maximum overhang is when the door is open to 45°, but even then the door corner only sticks out 1/2" past the right side. However, it's worth noting that for proper ventilation, the product manual calls for minimum clearances of 2" above the unit to the ceiling, 2" behind it to the back wall, and 8" to the wall on either side.
