• I believe the maximum size is 32gb card.

• I tried 64 & 128gb micro sd cards, both are working fine. I don't know about 256gb because I don't have one.

• I have the Insignia NS-PA8100 Android 7 tablet and am currently using a 200 GB with it. It seems to read and write data to it fine.
