Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue with a keyboard that wouldnt work- well with constant skipping around while typing. In the 14 day time allotted after purchase, I returned the first insignia tablet /keyboard to Best Buy customer service. They did check it out and said it also seemed to be slow on it's touch functions, and that both touch and the keyboard functions are controlled by the tablet side. They recommended exchanging for another unit, which they did after wiping out the first back to factory settings for me. The exchange was done easily and with no questions --- I was pleased! The new unit is a bit slow on setting up,and sometimes takes a few minutes with apps not responding right away- However, once it warms up, somehow all the app loading issue resolve. Then the tablet functions with good sensitive touch functions, and the keyboard. though smaller, functions as well as my hp laptop. I bought this 11.6 Insignia-keyboard duo as a back-up internet device to my laptop when I had some issues with it and couldnt get in touch with tech support. It was on sale for only around 120.00, so,I also added the Geek squad 2 yr tech coverage in case I had any continued issues. As a cheaper unit , it may not be quite as good as a high priced tablet/keyboard, but for a good backup, it is serving very nicely . I really like the 11.6" larger screen, and with the good functioning keyboard (my husband likes to type), it is like having another little laptop. ....so......I say- return your unit !..... and try another!- Hopefully , you'll luck in with one that functions well. Probably made at a cheaper price point, they are not all consistent, but MINE now works OK. LL
