• If your kids are notorious for leaving the door open then this is not the fridge for them. Get them something more basic and with a solid door. Buy this one for yourself. I have not had it left open much out of my own autonomy, so I can't state if it does make a noise or not. Worth the extra money for a nicer model with stainless, glass door and led. Hope that helps!
