Can this cooler be kept in a “hot” Houston garage? null

We keep it on our covered deck and it keeps everything good and cold

No, buy something without a glass door if you are going into a garage to maximize insulation and temp. Also, this is cheap, but will not drop below 39 degrees in a 60degree garage. Look at other brands that have no glass door, and do not have thousands of reviews saying how this does not keep items cold. If you don't care about noise, try the wyntor or Frigidaire they are loud, but can go to 34 degrees.
