• The answer is as follows depending on internal configuration. Not really. The audio output is done at a fixed level as well as a fixed impedance. Ypu would need to send the audio through an amplifier to control volume.

• It depends on what type of output you have. If it is RCA (red/white) audio and yellow video then yes. You will want an RCA to 3.5mm adapter.
