The short answer is No, if you are asking if you can transmit or record your voice from your headset's microphone, as well as hear over your headset. I just bought this kit and found that it doesn't work for the mike. Some online research shows that to use the mike, you need a so-called 4-pole cable, which has 3 stripes across the plug's metal, one between each "pole" / section of metal. This is a 3-pole cable with 2 stripes. Best Buy doesn't really sell any 4-pole male / female cables. You'll have to find them online for shipping, it seems.
