- Answer It says on the unit that output is 5V / 2.4A. V (voltage) times I (current) = P (power measured in watts), 5V x 2.4A = 12W

QuestionHow would anyone know when it is fully charged

- Answer There is no indicator in this charger to tell you the unit connected is fully charged. I power up the unit being charged, it tells me if it is fully charged. I use a Kindle, and a Samsung Phone both work fine. This one seems to be about the same wattage, witch is higher than the one shipped with the Kindle.
