It switched to fridge mode on me twice, just so happened the second time it switched I received an email from Insignia customer service the same day notifying me there was an upgrade to the app due to this issue. It hasn't happened again since they updated the firmware.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My freezer is working fine as a freezer. I have had NO problems with the appliance switching from freezer to fridge. Freezer is 2 months old. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
