A:AnswerWhy won't Best Buy simply post the directions for shutting off this completely unnecessary (and unprotected) wifi? I have called their customer support, and I have downloaded the app with no luck on either count. POST THE DIRECTIONS BEST BUY. Wifi on a freezer is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. "your privacy is important to us" says Best Buy, except when it comes to secure Wifi.
A:AnswerPer the manual, the default temperature for freezer mode is 0° F (-18° C) and swings +/- 10° F (+/- 6° C) and for refrigerator mode is 35° F to 46° F (2° C to 8° C). I've only had this for 2 weeks, but when I spot check the freezer it's between -7° F and 9° F. I guess the swing means it does not have to start and stop as often. For comparison it only runs about 25% of the time that my old unit ran, so I expect quite an energy savings (on top of the recent sale price, my utility Energy Star rebate, and selling my old unit to my utility). If you want to see the manual, go to www.insigniaproducts.com and search "NS-UZ14XWH7" under Support/Service.
A:AnswerHi, I have NOT bought a shelf for this freezer, but our Grandkids broke a glass shelf in our Samsung refrigerator, and I searched all over. I found it at www.appliancepartspros.com They carry almost every part for appliances. The price was fair and we got the exact shelf that looked and fit like original equipment. The price wasn't dirt cheap but I paid a lot less than I thought I might have to pay for the perfect part and many times cheaper than having a repairman come out. They ship the part to you. If the part is in stock, you get it in days. The part I ordered was out of stock, but I still got it in a few weeks. All you need is the brand name and model number of your appliance. They have on-line part diagrams that you can use to find the part.
You can check it out on line with no commitment. It is worth a try.
I hope this helps.

A:AnswerSounds like too much heat / moisture is getting in. Could be environment, frequency and length of time door remains open or a door seal gap. Mine seals extremely well (if you listen closely after closing door, you should hear a slight fan / vacuum noise for 5-10 seconds, then stop). Door may be a little more difficult to open than what you may be used to, this indicates the seal is likely OK. I wipe mine down every month or so to make sure it seals tight. If it's in laundry room, possibly excess heat in the environment & getting it when door is open could cause your issue, especially where it is collecting (highest point inside).

A:AnswerTo set temperature to 35 degrees:
Step 1. Press the lock button until it goes off.
Step 2. If necessary, place unit in Fridge mode by pressing the bottom button. The blue light will be lit under the grey line.
Step 3. The default fridge temperature is 41 degrees. Use the minus button to reduce the temperature to 35.
Step 4. The unit will automatically lock in the new temperature and mode.
A:AnswerThe unit works beautifully as a refrigerator with just the touch of a button. It’s ideal for my small 1902 kitchen with a butler’s pantry next door. There’s no room for one big unit, but the freezer in the pantry and refrigerator in the kitchen, I have all the room I need. The appliance has a ‘thumbs up ‘ from me.
A:Answerin the 3 months ours has been in operation there has been no frost build up. now that could be a different story during the warmer months - i do not know this as yet.
