The unit works beautifully as a refrigerator with just the touch of a button. It’s ideal for my small 1902 kitchen with a butler’s pantry next door. There’s no room for one big unit, but the freezer in the pantry and refrigerator in the kitchen, I have all the room I need. The appliance has a ‘thumbs up ‘ from me.

You have to deliberately press and hold the button to toggle between freezer and refrigerator mode. I'll only ever use mine as a freezer, though. If my current refrigerator dies, I'd consider buying another one of these and use that one as a refrigerator only.
