• Using the MANUAL MODE you can keep the lid in the open position for as long as you need it, until you turn manual mode off. Press the Open/Close button when the lid is open to turn off the sensor and have the lid remain open. In the details of the product, it mentions the manual mode option.

• Nah I don’t think so, when my batteries are low the trash can doesn’t open that well. It will open really slow and not all the way
