If the cable does NOT say it is good for outdoors I would not use it in that manner. When you make your purchase look for that in the description!

I did NOT see that in the description of this product... but I do use this type when going under the house... although you should check your local water table.

Have had no problems with this type under the house... YMMV?

If running outside, I would run through outdoor conduit to protect from the elements.

I have had this cable running outside for about a month now and so far I have not had any issues whatsoever and it's gotten down to 10 degress with snow.

If you were to do that I would run it thru a conduit, if you want to walk around freely I would look into if there are some specifically for outdoor use. Why not WiFi is my ??
