Ours is hot too. We had the first one go out in less than 6 months. Make sure you leave space on the sides.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I noticed mine are hot also, so I would say yes. In the manual it says to make sure there is at least 9 inches of clearance on either side, and that may be why.

But I understand your panic - I was exactly the same when it was first plugged in - I never felt a fridge exterior wall that hot ! I thought omg it’s not safe ! It’s great , I love it !! It’s in my garage

My first fridge was damaged and i told them i need them to fix it. The lady i spoke with suggested for me to trade it in for a new one and I was so happy i did that. I am super happy with it now.
