“The outside display fades out and now is no longer coming on.. The freezer is still keeping items frozen.. It will come on then fade out like the battery needs to be changed out. Any assistance will help”

The display does not stay on constantly, only a small blue led light to let you know it has power. The display will light up anytime you press a button or open the door, but then will turn off after a few minutes or less.
