A:AnswerThe power cord is equipped with a 3-prong (grounding) plug which mates with a standard 3-prong (grounding) wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard from this refrigerator.
A:AnswerThis is Best Buy secret. Made in China. Maybe by Media- competing Lowes model. Same issues for Insignia & Media:
Sides mid height are unexpectedly hot/warm to the touch while motor is running which is noticeable. Lacking insulation maybe?
Makes weird groaning & cat like sounds.
A:AnswerUnclear if glass shelf being quoted is on top of draws on bottom of frig. Probably. Glass shelves to replace wire racks unable to find from only 43 parts listed. Half are shown as Not Available. There is no other parts list. Manual has no parts list. Took 3 days & several emails to get Customer Service in Philippians to understand request is for Parts List. Frig is made in Thailand, per inside label. Finally got below info to order some parts:
Parts 855.975.6831 Mon-Fri, 8 am - 5 pm EST https://partstore.encompass.com/model/ISGNSRTM18WH8Q
I wanted to buy another small length door shelf, which is listed as "Tray". Not available! Here are all the door shelves:
12131000005323 Insignia Refrigerator Small Tray Not Available
12131000005562 Insignia Fridge Middle Large Tray Not Available
12131000005546 Insignia Fridge Bottom Large Tray Not Available
12131000005985 Insignia Freezer Tray $26
Already did 2 star review (Nickname is Name) given other concerns, before now finding out PARTS seem to also be issue.

Frig now is shown as 6 weeks delivery. Probably do to $100 off sale price $450, that started late May 2021 & still in effect @ time of this answer on 6/30/21. That is OK to be hard to get, Better to just pay up for another brand with long standing better performance & customer service in USA.

A:AnswerThe temperature range for the fridge section is 1°C to 10°C and for the freezer section is -12°C to -24°C. No, you cannot use the fridge as a freezer. Try the model NS-UZ21WH0
A:AnswerDid ask same question. There is NO parts list. Manual no tell. Got below from Insignia. (Duh)

Subject: Re: Parts List~NS-RTM18WH8Q Insignia Refrigerator, case ID 264779873
Hello
Thank you for getting back to us. This is Deneb from Insignia Products on behalf of my colleague Maria who is out office today.
I understand that you would like to escalate your case to our manager since Maria did not send you a parts list of our Insignia refrigerator, but also that you would like to honor your warranty.
Firs, I would like to explain you that we do not have a such a list, so she shared with you the manual. But in case you need a specific part for your unit, we could ask for our engineers to share it with us, so we can provide you with that part number. (Door shelves)
Also, if you do not mind, would you me so nice to explain me why do you need that list? (To order parts-DUH!)
Now, in order to honor the warranty of your NS-RTM18WH8Q refrigerator, I would need to ask you the following information:
- When did this start happening? (Hot Sides)
- Was it misused or damaged in some way (accidental or not)?
- When and where did you make the purchase?
- Do you still have the receipt? If so, please attach a picture of it.
In this case, I would suggest to perform a power cycle of it by following these steps:
1. Disconnect the refrigerator power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Turn the controls to "Off" or "0" inside the fridge.
3. Wait for an hour.
4. Adjust the fridge controls to the desired setting.
5. Allow the unit up to one day to adjust to a stable temperature.
