potentially, but it's not an outdoor unit. Temps down past 50 or so will require the motor to run harder. The back is not an open grill, but blowing dirt will enter at bottom, mess up door seals.

I personally would not. It is good quality but does seem on the cheaper end and needs a quality environment.
