My refrigerator made the same noise. Insignia said it's normal and is supposedly the compressor. I myself would look into returning it asap as it's extremely obnoxious and annoying, as I'm sure you've noticed. I myself returned mine, the process was fairly easy and they came out and picked it up without much hassle. Fully refunded and everything. Ten out of ten, would return again.
