• It's more than just a cord. The power input is DC 12 V, 2.5A and what comes in the box is a 120V AC to 12V DC converter. A generic 120V AC to 12V DC converter should work. Just make sure you get the right DC connector.

• Just present a claim to your product provider, he need to deliver to you with the power cord, unless you decide to buy it with out, if this is your case, just go to the near best buy store, I think insignia is a best buy brand, may be you can find it there.
