“Where do you find the guide that tells you how to use the side panel buttons for menu and input selections? I couldn't find a guide online or in the box that shows how to use the side panel buttons in order to navigate and select when using "input" and "menu".”

Once you are on the product page you can click on the "support/download" tab and you will see the options for downloading the manual. The menu button will open the menu and also move back a menu screen. The input button can act like an enter button while in the menus. The channel buttons can be used as the up/down buttons for scrolling though the menu. The volume buttons will act like right/left buttons in the menu.
