“How do you get rid of the annoying voice which announces that the TV is turned on and to what channel , what changes you are making to the volume etc, etc.? Please tell me. It is driving me nuts.”

I had the same struggle & is an easy fix in the menu. I don't have the TV remote in front of me, but go to the menu. Scroll around & there is an option for voice control (I think that's what it's called). Turn that Off.

Insignia NS-19D310NA19 Insignia tv Get rid of annoying verbal response to volume, channel change,etc. Choose MENUE on your REMNOTE Then use right arrow button to get to ACCESSIBILITY First item is VOICE GUIDE, click OK and use the UP or DOWN arrow button to choose OFF Click OK and EXIT Worked for me.

On the remote, push the button marked "Acc" for accessibility. Scroll down to "voice guide" and choose off.

Go to the Menu then go to Accessibility click the Audio to Off
