• Yes. You have to buy the audio optical cable separately, but the Insignia is set up for use with an optical cable. I was able to sync my Comcast remote with the soundbar, but I have not yet figured out how to sync it to both TV and soundbar at the same time.

• Yes, this soundbar works with an optical cable (not included). Use the soundbar remote to control the volume on the soundbar. Use the TV remote to control the volume on the TV. The box includes AC power adapter, remote control, 3.5 mm to RCAx2 cable, wall template, RCA cable.
