Answering the two parts of your question separately: 1) Wireless: the soundbar supports Bluetooth, Optical, and RCA Inputs, so you can only get wireless sound if you either have Bluetooth in your TV, or use a separate wireless transmitter/receiver. 2) No sound from TV: I have mine set up via RCA, and with the TV volume turned all the way down I can have audio coming only out of the soundbar (the volume of the TV does not affect the volume of the soundbar). HOWEVER, this is dependent on the TV; I've found some TVs support this, some don't. If playing from Bluetooth (see the other part of my answer) the only audio should be coming from the soundbar (every device I've ever used always plays audio ONLY from the Bluetooth sound device, e.g. headphones connected to a tablet, when Bluetooth is selected). Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, if your TV has Bluetooth or a Bluetooth transmitter to send the signal to the sound bar. You can disable the TV's speakers through the TV's sound menu if you don't want the sound to come out of your TV.
