“I have a 42" LG Tv I bought for my bedroom, the TV had a weird staticky sound on its own and was wondering if this would be compatible for my TV.”

Yes, as long as TV has stereo inputs, ( the red, white, and yellow) it will work. Also, the optical audio connection will work. It will connect with any TV, regardless of brand that cas these inputs.

Connects via rca or optical cord so if you have either connection on back of tv it should be compatible

Am sure it would work. But for a 42" TV I would buy a more substantial sound bar.

If your TV has an optical out port on it, this will work and should work great in the bedroom

If tv has audio output, yes, but could still have static if problem is upstream.
