Hello LHSmith, that codes or automatic code search steps must be provided by Uverse support. Omar S. - Insignia Support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try using the RCA jacks. Most TVs have variable level output on the "AUDIO OUT" RCA jacks but do not on the SPDIF (digital audio) jack. This should control the level of audio sent to your sound bar so you don't have to use two remotes but you would still have to use the sound bar remote to turn it on and off. You could just leave it on and be done with it. I have a 24" TV in my RV that has speaker about the size of a dime. I hooked up computer speakers and leave them on all the time and control the volume with the TV. Just turn off the TV speakers from the TV menu. I plan on getting this to replace the two bulky computer speakers. Hope this addresses your concern.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most remotes will not be compatible with this soundbar. But the Best Buy website recommends a Logitech 8 device remote. Which costs double what the sound bar costs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This sound bar remote does not appear compatible with most remotes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine with Uverse service and the remote worked with it without needing additional programming. There are instructions online at Uverse of how to search and set the remote for devices.
