The soundbar gives out much more volume than you would have any right to expect from it given it's size. However, the quality is also greatly enhanced, particularly in cinema mode. For the money, give it a try. You can always return it, but I don't think you will. I was astounded at how much clearer the sound is and the depth of the bass from such a small speaker. It's not a home theater system, but you know that, so manage your expectations accordingly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using mine in a finished basement for a small (24") tv. It definitly increases the quality of the sound vs. the sound from the tv speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine in my master bedroom. But i think it would work fine .I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, unfortunately this is a small speaker bar, this is perfect for a small room but not a living room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't expect too much!! It's $50. Flat screen TVs (like Samsung 43" HD TV that costs like $245 has two 10 watt speaker built in. A Samsung 75" TV has 20 watt speakers built in. A CHEAP sound bar (like an LG $120 soundbar) is 32 inches long and delivers 300 watts. This "speaker" is 12 inches long and delivers 16 watts. I'm not saying this doesn't improve a TV with lousy sound but the sound you should expect is about the same thing you get from a small, portable, bluetooth speaker like the ones you use to play music from your phone. Yes, it has a little remote control. Yes, it has some 'sound features' like Movie, etc but don't expect too much. If you're really looking for a SOUNDBAR as opposed to a little speaker you'd be better served spending $100 and getting something with 150 watts. I purchased this to use in my tiny condo and it helps a little.
