Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found an owner's manual for an LG 19LC2D online and, if your TV is like it shows in the manual, you would be able to use this speaker with your TV. On the back of your TV, you should find a headphone jack marked H/P with a small picture of headphones beneath it. This speaker comes with a headphone jack to RCA adapter and an RCA cable. Simply attach the adapter to the RCA cable, plug the adapter into your TV, the RCA cable into the speaker and press the RCA connection type on the speaker remote. I have one of these speakers connected to my wife's TV using this method and she loves the much better sound from this speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue. The only way I could make it work was to plug the bar speaker into my cable box. However, the sound from the cable box/bar speaker is not insync with the television speakers, which produces an echo. So we have to use one or the other but not both, which requires two remotes and is inconvenient.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have my soundbar connected via rca cables to my cable box with the tv sound turned down completely. As a result the sound comes from the soundbar and not the tv
