“I seen there is a "standby" button. Will a signal from the TV activate this device and will it time out and go back to standby when the signal disappears? Or, do you have to use the included remote to turn it on and off?”

• the included remote is all we can use to control the soundbar. Unless you but the Logitec 8 unit remote, for another $70.

• No, power is either on or off, no standby setting. That would have been a good idea.

• If you have an insignia tv it will. If another brand, then you have to manually turn it off and on.

• So far I have only been able to turn it off and on with the remote. The soundbar appears to turn off on it's own so everytime I turn the tv on I have to find the little remote for the soundbar. A bit of a pain, I will be returning for a different one.
