• Will not create theater like sound but gret sound and loud for the price works great using bass boost

• You said theater it's definitely louder than normal built-in speakers but when I use my receiver and my home theater 7.1 with a subwoofer that sounds totally different than the soundbar however if I am just using the volume on my TV the sound bar is much better hope that answers your question.
