• You are holding it too long and is going into pairing mode. Only hold the button for a second to turn on/off

• I believe that is the Bloothtooth showing it is ready to connect. My observation is along as it is plugged it, it will stay in that mode.

• This model is a 2.1 Bluetooth speaker system. The blue light on the front of the right speaker will blink to indicate the pairing status of the system. There are no lights on the back of any of these units, if you are referring to a different model, please ask your questions again on that model so we can assist you.
