Good loud sound.
||Posted .This bluetooth speaker system has good loudness for listening to music in our house. I'm not sure if it's the high ceiling in our living room or the speakers. I love the fact that connecting to them through bluetooth is SIMPLE, just turn it on, blue light flashes and find it on your audio device. I do believe though that you can only have one audio connected at a time. Also, if you are a heavy bass head there may not be enough sub woofer for you .I would recommend these speakers though, nice quality and function for the amount you pay.

Equal Value for Money Spent
||Posted .I didn't spend a lot of money on these, and glad I didn't. The sound is completely mediocre, but equals the money I spent. Definitely get what you pay for.

REVIEW OF: Insignia 2.1 Bluetooth Speaker System
||Posted .REVIEW OF: Insignia 2.1 Bluetooth Speaker System (3 Piece, Black) Model: NS-PSB4521 SKU: 2744086 [ PRO's ] - Decent High tones. - Average deep Bass tones. - Attractive pricing. - Unit is good for small office rooms. - Compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled devices. - 2 satellite speakers 1 subwoofer. - 32W RMS total system power. - up to 32.8' wireless range. - Auxillery input. [ CON's ] - less than spactacular Bass tones for a standalone subwoofer unit. Still, the sound quality is a lot better than most small side-mount speakers. - Unit produces a very low-tone tapping noise when no music is being played through the speakers. This has been reported by other online reviewers and seems to be a defect in the model of all units. You can ignore this by reducing the volume when not listening to music.

Excellent For The Money
||Posted .At regular price of $50? Maybe not. But for $20 as I've seen it many times? Absolutely. I wanted this specifically for a STATIONARY (wired) bluetooth speaker in my garage. No intention of ever moving it since I already have numerous battery operated smaller bluetooth speakers, and no intention of ever needing to plug into the 3.5mm which people seemed to have issues with. So for what I was looking for, it was perfect. It sounds MUCH better than any mobile bluetooth speaker at that price point will sound. Is it amazing sound? No. But it sounds much better than you would expect for a $20 Insignia. No offense, Insignia. Pairing is painless and the range is incredible. It meets and beats the range it says and it even still works when I walk into the house, so has numerous walls/doors between my phone and the speaker. Very impressive for bluetooth. I have yet to have a dropped signal. Volume is acceptable for what it is. You're not going to throw a house party with it but for a two car garage and in the driveway you get ample sound and decent bass from the small sub. I would highly recommend it at the $20 price point and if you only intended on using the bluetooth.

Great sound for a good value.
||Posted .The Insignia speakers are easy to setup and look good beside my computer. They give great sound in a small package. Linking to the bluetooth is easy, just turn on the speakers and pair with your bluetooth device. The only thing I do not like about these speakers is how they "autosense" if you have the computer connected to them. They are defaulted to blue tooth when you turn them on, so if you have them connected to your computer, but the computer does not have audio coming out at the time then the speakers just sit there and time out if no audio comes from the computer or no bluetooth device pairs with it. It also takes the speakers a second to "autosense" the computer so if you are expecting to hear all the little bells and chimes associated with normal everyday computing, you might not want to get these speakers. I think if they would have added a simple slider switch to select bluetooth or wired connection, these would be awesome speakers.

Good speaker, not as loud as I would have expected
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.I got this speaker system to connect to my Amazon dot so that we could listen to music better. It is without a doubt better than the speakers in the dot, and probably better than if we had an echo, but I actually expected it to be a bit louder. Overall, it was cheap so it was worth the price and I obviously got what I paid for. Also, if the power flickers or goes out and back on again, this will turn off and you have to manually turn it back on. A bit annoying when our dot is always on and suddenly we can't hear it anymore because the speakers turned off and we didn't realize it.

Excellent system....Great value!
||Posted .I purchased this system to use as an enhancement to the new LED tv that I also purchased. Both are Insignia brand. I also tried a Logitech 2.1 system with the same tv. The Insignia speakers cost slightly more but are definitely worth it. They sound better, have volume controls for both the subwoofer and the entire system independently. The sound improvement over using just the tv speakers alone is significant. They are very easy to set up and their design is very nice. The additional bluetooth feature is nice. Just be aware that to use bluetooth, you have to disconnect the speakers from the tv first. "Not" having to do that would be the only improvement I would recommend. Due to that issue, I held back one star. Otherwise I'd have given them a 5 star rating.

Q: Questionare the 2 mini speakers connected to the big speaker with wiresis it wireless
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The right channel speaker has the power/pairing button, volume control, and bass adjustment knob. It is connected to the subwoofer via a wire with a specific connector on it. The left channel speaker has a standard rca style connector on the end of its wire and it also plugs into the subwoofer. The right speaker also has an aux (3.5mm) jack on the back to plug an audio device into with a wire. The preferred/normal method of connecting to the set of speakers is via bluetooth. So your phone/other music device just needs to be within range of the speakers (approx 30ft) and your music can be played.

Q: Questionare these compatible with the Insignia LED TV 19E310A13
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The Insignia LED TV 19E310A13 does not have Bluetooth capabilities if that was what you were wondering you could use it with. HOWEVER, these speakers are still normal speakers that accept audio in from the tv's audio out (via an auxiliary cable). Since they are desktop speakers, they use an auxiliary input versus standard home-theatre/entertainment speakers than generally use the red/white (although some may have aux too). Anyhow, yes they will be compatible. These speakers should already have a green aux cable built in that you'll plug into the back of your "audio out" port on your TV.

Q: QuestionCan I use this as a dual system, ie wireless and connect to my computer tower?I am looking for a system that will connect to my computer tower (not wireless) and also let me connect via Bluetooth
Asked by mb.
- A:Answer Yes, this will do both. You have to hook the head phone jack up to your computer for it to work wired. Then if you want to do bluetooth you have to unplug the head phone jack and then you can pair.
