There are five different settings for sound quality on the remote control: 1. Source. I don't know what this does, so I only tried it once. 2. Bass. This seems to enhance the lower frequencies. 3. Standard. Could be the same as source, as far as I can tell. 4. Theater. Makes everything sound better. Enhances the total experience when watching movies or TV. 5. News. Seems to cut down on the lower frequencies and enhance the upper register. Perfect for listening to voices or podcasts or books on CD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This soundbar is a huge improvement over the small speakers in most TV's these days. If you are upgrading from TV speakers, you will definitely notice a significant volume increase, and a bit of bass from the small subwoofer included. This is a 2 channel soundbar, so if you are looking specifically for clearer voices, I would recommend investing in a 3.0 or 3.1 channel soundbar instead, as those soundbars will have a center channel of speakers dedicated to dialogue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The sound quality is much better than the TV speakers, I used an optical cord for connection (not included) and placed the sub to the far left of the TV while mounting the sound bar under it (TV is mounted to wall) it doesn't have as much bass as the Samsung soundbar I use in another room, but as I said much better than the TV speakers. Clarity is good, nice mids, the bass will be there but don't expect window rattling explosions while watching an action film.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sound is not that great. It's just like your TV sounds
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Initially the sound was adequate but after a few weeks the sound bar quality started to crack and became tinny. The other issue is that the soud bar is often out of sync with the TV. The delay reminds you of bad dubbing in a foreign movie.
