• Optical input or HDMI from what I remember. I bought this for my parents and used optical input to connect it. I remember HDMI.

• I’m answering my own question. I purchased and connected the sound bar and subwoofer by myself. The instructions were provided and easy to follow. And I’m in my seventy’s.
