“Disconnected from insignia tv, have tried every possible troubleshooting I could think of and can't get the TV to send sound thru arc to the soundbar. Any troubleshooting suggestions?”

Try goofing with the background TV settings for audio. Mine still has trouble using hdmi too. I actually hooked up optical cable too. Sometimes I have to switch to optical source to get sound. Then the soundbar randomly figures it out and automatically switches to hdmi - and that works too.
