“What to do with bad Insignia 2.1 Speaker System I am on my second Insignia 2.1 Speaker system. They are very good for a few months then they go bad and the sound is all scratchy and unusable. Both sets did the same thing. I have kept the second set turned off when not in use. It did not help. Is there a repair for this? Has the manufacturer fixed this problem?”

I imagine that these products simply go bad because of the build quality. I was thinking of buying some myself because they were cheaper than some Logitech 2.1 speaker system. However, I chose a reputable brand over a Best Buy brand because store brands usually are terrible. Sometimes cheap prices say it all. I suggest looking in the pamphlets that came with your speakers to see what are your options. Also, visit the Insignia website to see if you can contact them about what you can do with them.
