Doubtful. 1) you'd have to break the SATA connector out of the case, and 2) most desktop hard drives need a separate SATA power connector that this doesn't have.

First, the enclosure is designed for 2.5" SATA hard drives. Most desktop hard drives are typically 3.5" in size. If your Dell 3TB hard drive is a 3.5" model, it won't physically fit into this enclosure. Second, the enclosure is designed to work with SATA interface hard drives. If your Dell hard drive uses a different interface, like IDE, it won't be compatible with this enclosure. So, you would need to check the physical size and the interface of your Dell 3TB hard drive to confirm compatibility. If your hard drive is a 2.5" SATA model, then it should work with the Insignia 2.5" SATA to USB-C HDD Enclosure.
