“I am plugging this into my new Macbook pro and nothing is showing up. the drive has a blue light and I hear it running. why can't I see it on my computer. I want to transfer from an old laptop hard drive.”

I changed out the hard drive from my laptop for a solid state drive, and put the old drive in this case. Fit well and works well. This is just a box that you need to put a hard drive into. By itself it may light up, but that's all.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.drive is more than likely not getting enough power you need to purchase a Y cable that will have two USB plugs and you should be ok.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.More than likely it isn't receiving enough power. If your USB ports are not 3.0 then you would need a Y Cable to plug it into 2 usb ports
