We use brown rice in a cooker we've had for many years and use 2.5 cups of water to 1 cup of brown long- or short-grain rice. Normal auto timing.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but it is not clear on water/rice ratio or time. You have to be more vigilant and experiment with it. My first batches were less successful. I was using Red's brand that did not have rice cooker instructions.
