You shouldn't need a driver, is it a fresh drive? if so it may not be partitioned/formatted, you will have to go into disk management, look for it under search in windows, it should say "create and format hard disk partitions" click on that. Check to see if the device is there. If it is, you need to create a partition and then format it. It's a relatively straightforward process. Connect the USB cable to the USB 3.0 In jack on the docking station and to an available USB port on your computer. 3. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of your docking station, then turn on your docking station and the computer. The docking station LED blinks until the computer identifies your station, then the LED lights steady. 4. If this is the first time you are using an SSD or HDD, follow your computer's operating system instructions to format the disk. 5. Follow your computer's operating system instructions to transfer data to or from your computer. The docking station LED blinks while data is transferring. 6. When the transfer is complete, turn off power to the docking station by pressing the power switch. Press the eject button on the side of your docking station, then remove the SSD or HDD.
