Probably unlimited, the largest drive I’ve had in mine was 10 TB. I had no issues.

The bay is only a slot to connect, the limitations on the drive size are more to do with the size drive that windows will use / partition if allowed. I believe anything over 4 or 5 Tera has to be partitioned in Windows 10, that’s very large.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As big as the drives you buy! This is only a SATAII/III to USB 3 dock for drives. If you buy a 1TB drive the capacity is 1TB if you buy a 8TB drive then it's 8TBs
