“just a quick question. Is there a means to tell the drives in this dock to power down when not in use? I've looked in Windows Explorer Properties and don't see any option. I would like to be able to leave drives inserted for several days.”

I down loaded over 2 terabytes of data which took over 3 days to do & the computer will sleep & still work fine. I just let it work till it was done.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I already know there is a power switch, The question is if the drives will stop spinning when idle for a period of time. I think I have figured that they will spin down under control of the USB connectioin if it is idle when Windows goes to sleep.
