• NO ---one land line goes to the ONE open port side then multiples out of the two-port side to two different phones.

• The purpose of this splitter is to allow 2 devices to connect to the same phone line so no. You could have 1 splitter per line though, but I don't understand what you are trying to do so i cant help you more
