“I want to use these for an outdoor movie. How to connect? I have a projector and a blue ray player (or a DVD player). Do I need anything else? How do I connect these? Really technologically challenged.”

These are speakers only. You must WIRE them to your sound system. These are NOT amplified and require you to already have a sound system. A standard DVD, Blue ray, or projector will not power these speakers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on your receiver what you have to do. On my Onkyo the outside speakers are powered by channel 2. You need a receiver that can do this. For example if the T.V. Is on inside the house it will be driving the speakers indoors on channel 1 while a movie outdoors is selected by pressing the channel 2 speaker button and then selecting what device it wants to play ( radio, t.v., blue ray, cd,...).
