I am assuming the manufacturer used tempered glass when making these shelves. Or, at least I hope they did. The glass is .171 thickness, just shy of 3/16". Dimensions are 16" in depth by 24" wide. Using these dimensions, the glass alone would hold approximately 100 pounds. I say the glass alone because the glass shelves have a plastic frame around them which would add to support. I know that the heaviest loaded shelf in the freezer now has over 50 pounds stacked on it. I do not think that you will have a problem. One dismaying point that I have on this freezer is that it has only four shelves. With it's interior height, they could have easily designed it with five shelves and the ability for adjustment would have been nice.
