• Yes. Their sure is. Go to “Menu” on te remote. Than go to the “Accessibility” tab. Once there the first option should read “Voice Guide” turn that off. Issue solved now.

• I have the same TV, and kind of wondered the same thing. Did you bring up the Control Panel to see if there was a way to silence our TV talker? It would be under "Sound" and I haven't checked it out yet, but that's what I would do. Good luck and let me know!
