• You can use this as a monitor as long as your PC has an HDMI output.

• This is what I use it for, its connected to a desktop with a PC VGA to VGA plug. The quality is excellent. You can buy the plug at Best Buy or Staples.

• Yes, if your computer has either VGA or HDMI outputs. All older computers have VGA, most newer have HDMI and/or VGA.

• Yes. But check that your PC has a video out that is compatible with this tv. (HDMI probably)

• If your PC has HDMI out, then yes. I bought a USB to HDMI adaptor and connected my computer. Works great. But it does not have the standard VGA connection.
